Professional Instruction
The diverse backgrounds of our swim instructors means that we have the right instructor for all swimmers, beginner to experienced. We have former swimmers, teachers, parents and coaches, all of whom have been around swimming and children for many years and who love the combination of kids and water. They all believe that everyone, from children to adults, should be water-safe, and we offer classes to all ages to help that happen.
Children's Aquatic Programs
Parent-Tot Classes
Beginning Saturday, January 9 from 9:15-9:45AM, and every Saturday through Ma, join one of our instructors to learn how to teach your own children basic water skills. $50 per month/member or $55 per month/non-member (Parents - please come prepared to get in the water with your child(ren).)
Beginners' Swim Classes
Beginning Saturday, January 9 from 10:00-10:30AM, and every Saturday through April, children ages 3 - 6 years will be taught basic swimming skills in a small group setting. $50 per month/member or $55 per month/non-member.
Kids' Swim Clinics
These clinics are designed for children who are water safe (don't require an adult to be in the water with them). Children will be given instruction on the four competitive strokes (butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle) throughout the winter and spring with an emphasis on swimming correctly to develop good habits. Classes will be held in the indoor pool. The fall/winter session runs from Wednesday, September 8 through Wednesday, December 15.
Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30-5:00PM for 5 - 7 year olds at a pre-swim team level: $5 per drop-in clinic
Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30PM for 6-8 year olds at a swim team level: $75/month or $10 per drop-in clinic
Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 - 6:30PM for 9 - 13 year olds: $75/month or $10 per drop-in clinic

Private Lessons
Instructors are also available for private lessons, which start at $20/half hour for members and $25/half hour for non-members. Swim lesson package prices are as follows:
Package of 4 for $76/Member, $98/Non-member
Package of 8 for $136/Member, $179/Non-member
Package of 12 for $166/Member, $243/Non-member
Semi-private lessons
For groups of 2 - 3 children per instructor. Individuals pay $15/session/child for members and $20/session/child for non-members(sessions are 30 minutes). Package prices are as follows:
Package of 4 for $52 plus tax for members, $72 plus tax for non-members
Package of 8 for $88 plus tax for members, $128 plus tax for non-members
Package of 12 for $108 plus tax for members, $168 plus tax for non-members

Aquakids Group Swim Lessons
Our summer group lessons program is a great way for your child to progress from beginner through pre-swim team levels, with low swimmer/teacher ratios (4 swimmers to 1 teacher). Available levels are Starfish (beginners (age 3 and older); Goldfish (advanced beginners); Tigerfish (intermediate); Seal (advanced intermediate); and Shark (pre-swim team). Sessions, times and prices are as follows (classes run Monday - Friday in 2 week sessions for first 4 sessions, and then a 1 week session for session 5):
Session 1: June 1 - 11 (no lessons on Mon. May 31, Memorial Day)
Session 2: June 14 - 25
Session 3: June 28 - July 9
Session 4: July 12 - 23
Session 5: July 26 - 30 (1 week)
times: 10:00-10:30am
10:30-11:00am
5:30-6:00pm
cost: $60/member/session
$110/non-member/session
